Overview
Each year, employees from IMUA's member companies, along with other industry experts, explore the factors influencing the commercial inland marine industry and provide education to address the key technical and coverage challenges facing today's inland marine insurance professionals.

Intro Track
We will once again offer our acclaimed "Intro Track," parallel to our traditional educational programming. The "Intro Track" is specifically designed for those newer to the inland marine industry but these sessions are also open to professionals seeking a refresher on major lines of business.
Sessions Include:
- Introduction to Inland Marine Insurance - Covers the unique nature of inland marine insurance, including the evolution of the Nationwide Marine Definition, classes of business, filed/non-filed status, and regulatory considerations.
Presented by Michelle Hoehn Wallace, Travelers - Understanding Contractors Equipment - Introduction to types of operations and equipment, underwriting factors to consider, and a review of basic coverage and forms.
Presented by Tony Falcone, Intact Insurance - Transportation Insurance - An introduction to transportation insurance, types of motor carriers, their insurance needs, and underwriting issues to be considered.
Presented by John Clarke, Selective Insurance and Ron Castellanos, Selective Insurance - The Basics of Builders Risk - Understanding builders risk coverage—what it is, who needs it and how it works. Covers underwriting issues including hard/soft costs and project delays.

Guest/Spouse
Guest/Spouse registration is available upon request. Please contact Allie Monreale for a link to the guest/spouse registration. This ticket is $300 and includes Sunday's welcome cocktail reception and buffet dinner and Tuesday evening banquet (cocktail reception followed by plated dinner). Guests can add a recreation option for an additional fee.
Bring-A-Buddy
IMUA members who have attended past annual meetings can “Bring-a-Buddy” (i.e. a junior company employee with minimal industry experience) to the meeting for a substantially reduced fee of $845. ($895 after March 28, 2024)
Bring-A-Broker
IMUA members can invite and sponsor brokers/producers to attend the meeting at a discounted rate of $845. ($895 after March 28, 2024)
