Advocacy
IMUA advocates to maintain the non-filed status of the inland marine lines of business. Our efforts include monitoring legislation and regulation that impacts the industry and communicating it to our member companies. IMUA is not a lobbying organization, however, where practical we organize activity to protect the common interests of our member companies. This is accomplished by working with other professional organizations to provide information and education to policymakers on key issues.
