Professional Bio

Raymond Szczucki serves as Account Engineer for Chubb’s Inland Marine unit, part of Chubb’s Property & Specialty Lines division. In this role, he is responsible for engineering evaluations and construction risk management services for Builders Risk and Engineered Risk accounts.
Mr. Szczucki previously worked as Construction Engineer for ESIS Health Safety and Environmental Services (ESIS HSE), Chubb’s risk management services company. He subsequently served as Engineered Risk Specialist for Westchester, the U.S.-based wholesale-focused operating division of Chubb. Prior to joining Chubb, he held a variety of design engineering positions for several engineering firms, focusing on private and public projects, water treatment and distribution facilities and wastewater treatment facilities, site development, sanitary/stormwater systems, and residential and commercial developments.
Mr. Szczucki received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Wilkes University, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
Mr. Szczucki is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and serves as Treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE). In addition, he is a member of the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association, Maintenance Committee, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
